UPDATE:After about 2 hours, Season of Blood has officially started forDiablo 4. The servers appear to be getting slammed, but theoretically, you should now be able to login to play. Also, theSteamversion is now available as well with a 25% discount. Season 2 is now live. Well, I didn’t have this one on my Season of Blood bingo card. If you were excited aboutDark Sectorbefore, brace yourself. D3 Publisher has announced that Hollywood actor Michael Rosenbaum will be lending his voice to the game’s lead character, Hayden Tenno. Rosenbaum is best known for his work as Lex Luthor on the CW’sSmallville. “We are thrilled to work with Mr. Rosenbaum onDark Sector,” said D3’s vice president of product development, Peter Andrews. “His experience in portraying tormented characters on-screen translates incredibly well to the tortured character of Hayden Tenno inDark Sector, a true anti-hero who makes no excuses for his actions....
If only Sega would tell us what in the world they’re doing with Sonic Last week, Sonic (and Chris Redfield, and Ezio) voice actor Roger Craig Smith, who has predominately voiced the character for the last decade,announced that they would be no longer be playing the role of the Blue Blur. Touch fuzzy get fuzzy During today’s Nintendo Direct, we got a new trailer looking at some of the forces at work behind theSplatoon 3Story Mode. In “Return of the Mammalians,” it looks things are going to get hairy for the squid-kids of Splatsville. The gameplay shown at first looks like what you would expect fromSplatoon, albeit with even more awesome gizmos and gadgets for distributing ink. I’m really intrigued by the goopy grappling hook shown off at one point, and that giant crawler....
Longest, subtitle, ever. Square Enix and tri-ace Japan announcedStar Ocean Integrity and Faithlessnessis getting localized for the North American and Europe, and the combat looks to be real-time focused with a target for a constant 60 frames-per-second. It’s oddly being localized for PS4 only, even though Japan is getting a PS3 version as well. It will arrive in Japan in winter 2015, and in North America and Europe in 2016....

There’s no denying thatHelldivers 2is a great game to play if you need a few laughs. Especially if you’re playing with a group of friends. The screams as fellow players are swarmed by Terminids or crushed by Stratagems have had me crumpled up on the floor like a Helldiver with every bone in their body broken from laughing too hard. While it’s probably an unintended bug, theHelldivers 2hug exploit has emerged as something that I think gives players a lovely little in-game boost but also a mental boost in real life....
