Awww….aaaaaghhh SMITEis still trucking along for the long haul on PC and with the Xbox One beta, and developer Hi-Rez Studios has just revealed the newest god — Ratatoskr. In case you’re wondering, yes, that cute little critter is a real Norse god, functionally similar to Hermes in Greek mythology. Ratatoskr’s attacks are all based around his acorn item, which can be customized to change his abilities. I’ll definitely be trying him out soon enough while I fit mySMITEsessions in withLeague of LegendsandHeroes of the Storm....

Taito’s classic pew-pew-pew space shooter,Raystorm, is now available on the Apple App Store, for iPhone and iPod Touch. Sins of the Father Hamster has reached into the distant past for another release in their Arcade Archive range, pulling forth platforming classicDonkey Kong Jr., the sequel to Nintendo’s smash hit,Donkey Kong. Originally released in 1982,Donkey Kong Jr. turns the face/heel alignment on its head, with original hero Jumpman (now Mario) the antagonist of the game, with the younger Kong playing the hero. As a PSOne Classic Strider 2was pretty fantastic. Although it had an upgraded visual style (for the time), it was a pure throwback to old school beat ’em ups, and had some extremely solid gameplay. It also used the “new” Strider design that was founded in the originalMarvel vs. Capcom. The game will actually hit the PSN on October 7th, and if you’re an action fan I highly recommend picking it up....
