OtherOS running again on hacked PS3 firmware

As promisedjust over a week ago, iPhone jailbreaker George Hotz has created a means by which OtherOS support can be restored to PlayStation 3 systems. The video above, made by the hacker, shows the previously removed feature running on the firmware version 3.21 which marked the end of Sony’s support for it. The hack that Hotz refers to as “custom firmware,” can be installed without breaking open the PS3. He expressed that it may even add the functionality on PS3 Slim units that have never had it before....
