Watch the striking trailer below to see why Let me introduce you to Kickstarter projectRadio the Universe: A great looking top-down action game that conveys a specific haunted mood so well with its art direction and pixel art that resemblesKonjak‘s better work. RIP FuniRoll: Crunchyroll and Funimation split

At least HIDIVE joined VRV Today is a sad day for anime fans. For the past two years, Funimation and Crunchyroll have had a partnership where they would share the streaming rights for various anime titles, but that partnership has come to an end. As of November 9, the partnership between Funimation and Crunchyroll will end, as well as Funimation’s partnership with VRV. The reason is mostly due to AT&T’s buyout of WarnerMedia, who owns both VRV and Crunchyroll, while Sony owns Funimation....

Sombra was worth the wait, if you’re a particular type of Overwatch player

Sneaky, sneaky Sombra is finally going to hitOverwatchafter months of teasing. It went from “man, Blizzard can really do an ARG” to “really Blizzard?” pretty fast, but hey, they tried, they dragged it out, and now we’re getting a real extra free character out of it. I’ll take it. And after playing her on location at BlizzCon, I’m even more excited. Sombra is classified as “Offense,” though she has some support-like capabilities (mostly related to her hacking of health packs, which I’ll get to momentarily)....

The added bonus of striving for 100% completion is the abundance of rewards that will keep Peter and Miles on their toes against theirvarious foes. Here’s everything you need to help the Spider-Men clean up New York....

Image & Form is using a new developer diary to give us the dirty details, which includes a limited time 20% discount for the Switch and PC editions....

The hidden NES emulator on Switch is actually a tribute to the late Satoru Iwata

I’m not crying, it’s just raining out A few days ago,we reportedon dataminers discovering the NES gameGolfhidden within the Switch’s firmware. A lot of people were speculating if this was a bug, a placeholder for the eventual launch of Nintendo’s Virtual Console service, or some hidden Easter egg that could eventually be launched. The Secret World’s Scorched Desert looks brutal

Desert locations are always a bitch, but in upcoming MMO The Secret World it’s going to be the biggest bitch. A new trailer shows off this location, which is set in Egypt. If the heat and the dudes with rocket launchers isn’t enough, try on the black goop coming out from the ground. Or the freaky beasts. Or zombies from ancient times. This makes your typical desert level look like a cake walk....

This week’s Left 4 Dead 2 Mutation: ‘Follow the Liter’

The newest Mutation forLeft 4 Dead 2is “Follow the Liter,” a variation on Scavenge mode where only one gas can appears at a time. This severely limits the paths Survivors can take to reach their overall objective and should help to crank up the intensity. I mean, it’s a game about the zombie apocalypse, so it’s already fairly intense. Perhaps I should change that to “this Mutation will crank up the ragequitting....
