As a note to game developers, if you put alpacas, llamas, or pretty much any animal into a game with little rhyme or reason, there’s at least a 60% chance I’m going to cover it. Austrian developer Salt Castle Studio figured that out. They put alpacas in a party game revolved around soccer, and well, here we are....

Sega pump the brakes Sega has announced that their upcoming tarmac burnerSonic Team Racingwill not make its originally scheduled Winter 2018 release date. The game has been rescheduled for release in May next year. Speaking on twitter Sega admitted that “delays are no fun, but quality matters most. Thanks for your patience – we’ve got more to show you for TSR very soon!”. It was already looking pretty shake as we approach November but were still yet to hear a release date for the the tag-team style kart racer....

‘War never ends’ I had forgotten aboutTom Clancy’s EndWar Online. It was originallyannounced just about two years ago, took on some alpha playtesters, and went dark to everybody else. Today, it is coming out of alpha and into a closed beta phase. Ubisoft sent some new screenshots along, and they look all right, for a browser-based free-to-play strategy game. Some of the in-game shots show the MOBA influence, with three lanes of combat for the tanks and choppers to traverse....

Well, that could’ve been bad Security researcher Artem Moskowsky discovered a bug within Steam’s infrastructure that could’ve been incredibly damaging for Valve. If exploited it would’ve given the user access to generate any number of keys for any game. That’s obviously bad for Valve since Steam is built around, you know, selling games. Moskowsky didn’t run wild like a kid in a toy store, though. He reported the bug to Valve....
