From MatPat

This is the type of thing you’d normally shake your head at and write off, but it actually happened. As part of a world summit on the Internet at the Vatican (real thing), popular YouTuber MatPat was invited, and was given the opportunity to “present a gift to the Pope.”

In the video below he explains why he ended up choosingUndertale, which was given to Pope Francis in the form of a digital Steam code. In essence, he thinks that it not only represents where we’re at as a community, but it also falls in line with the “Year of Mercy” theme that the Vatican decreed this year.
