The Grassroots Greats promo is coming very soon toEA FC 25, and you’re able to expect some fantastic items to arrive in packs.
EA Sports has confirmed the release date and officially announced the upcoming addition of Argentine legend Maradona to the database. His card will be added to Ultimate Team as part of the promo, but Grassroots Greats isn’t only about El Diego.
We have already had some fun rumors about possible new cards.

Interestingly, the first leaks about the Grassroots Greats promo appeared in January, when the Team of the Year promo was live. These are the following items that were leaked originally:
In a nutshell, the promo will be all about footballers who have earned special places in the hearts of the Ultimate Team community. Hence, a few names like Franck Ribery are almost certain to earn special cards during the upcoming promo. For now, however, it’s best to wait for more leaks.
Maradona’s appearance is guaranteed, and we are waiting to find out what his official card will look like inside the game.
EA FC 25 Grassroots Greats promo release date
The Grassroots Greats promo will go live on Friday, February 14. So far, it appears that the promo will be a one-week affair. The existing rumors already make the campaign a special one, as we haven’t had a similar campaign in Ultimate Team in the past.
It will be interesting to find out more about which players find a place in the promo. More leaks are expected to appear as we get close to the release date. A few cards will also be part of SBCs and objectives, allowing you to unlock them quite easily.
