Yes, it’s still getting updates
For as much crap as we love to give Konami over basically everything it does as a company, and we do love it, the publisher has done right bySuper Bomberman R. Here we are, more than a year and a half out from its initial release, and the game is still getting free content updates. Over the summer,Solid Snake, Naked Snake, and Raidenfrom theMetal Gear Solidfranchise joined in on the fun. Now, another Konami icon has been added to the expansive list of playable characters.
With Version 2.2, available for download today, Alucard fromCastlevania: Symphony of the Nightis now playable. He’s joined by Upa Bomber fromBio Miracle Bokutte Upa, as well as some console exclusive characters. PlayStation 4 owners will getPiposaru Bomber and Toro, Xbox One owners will getArbiter Bomber and Grunt Bomber, and those playing on Steam will get ATLAS Bomber.
