Have you playedCuldcept? If you haven’t, it’s a highly competitive strategy card/board game that is like a blend of the best parts ofMonopolyandMagic: The Gathering. It started out as a Sega Saturn game and has seen several remakes and updates throughout the years, but it still seems like no one knows about this geeky gem.
The lucky bastards in Japan get a new version of this game for the3DSthis summer. I lost my sh*t when I heard the good news coming out of last month’s Nintendo Direct announcements, but I felt kind of like the guy that cheers for the wrong sports team when I got excited about it.
If you haven’t seen it yet, the trailer (below) looks great, and not unlike the Xbox 360 gameCuldcept Saga.
Am I totally alone in the hopes thatCuldcept 3DSwill be brought to the West? With Nintendo being the publisher, I wouldn’t totally write off the possibility of a localized version. Still, would you buy this if they did? And would you battle with me? Don’t make me boot up that buggy Xbox 360 version!
