Prime members get a ticket to fight the Reapers
Amazon’s Prime Day is coming up, where it offers a bunch of deals specifically for its subscribing members. On the games side of things, that includes a few freebies. And this year the lineup is pretty good, as Prime members can get a copy ofMass Effect Legendary Editionand someStar Warsgames for the low, low price of free.
Inan Amazon blog, the company reveals some of the games arriving as freebies for Prime Day.Mass Effect Legendary Editionis a big one, as that’s all threeMass Effectgames and their single-player DLC, packing the whole trilogy into one launcher. If that gets you eager for space action, there’s also a fewStar Warsgames on offer too:Star Wars Jedi Knight – Jedi Academy,Jedi Outcast, andRepublic Commando. Or, for gearheads, there’sNeed for Speed HeatandGRID Legends.

Amazon says that during Prime Day on July 12-13, members will be able to claim over 30 free games. And in the leadup, there are some other games to add into your backlog too, from June 21 up through July 13. They range from indie hits likeRain Worldto classics likeMetal Slug 2andThe King of Fighters 2002.
