Expanding core team
Bethesda Game Studios has announced it is adding another base of operations in the decidedly non-Bethesda area of Montreal, Quebec, to “expand its development capabilities in console, PC, and mobile gaming.” Note that last bit — given the success ofFallout Shelter, they’re no doubt looking to jump into that market as soon as possible.
The move was brought about by the fact that they already worked with “very talented developers” there, as noted by executive producer Todd Howard. Apparently the team is already 40 strong, and will focus on console and mobile development specifically for now, managed by developer Yves Lachance.

They are also hiring, if you’re interested.
