He’ll probably open his own studio, too

Brothers – A Tale of Two Sonswas met with plenty of critical acclaim — recently taking home the Game Innovation award at the BAFTAs — but the game’s director is ready to move onto other things. While he’s in the process of doing that, he’s going to throw a little bit of hype our way.

Speaking withDigital Spy, Joseph Fares said that his next project will be “something special” and “definitely something that hasn’t been done before.” Fares went on to state that “I’m moving on to the next thing. I have my next idea ready, it’s super cool. If I tell you the idea now, you’d say ‘I haven’t played something like this before.'”

The only other comment that he could make is that this new project won’t be developed by Starbreeze, but rather that he intends to open his own studio. Fares couldn’t give much more in the way of details, but given howBrothersturned out, it’s reasonable to buy into his excitement to some degree.
