Is there aSkull and Bonesoffline mode?
As of the time of writing, there’s no way to playSkull and Bonesoffline. During my testing, the game doesn’t boot up offline. It says it “Failed to initialize online service.” It asks for you to “check your network settings and connection and try again” with the error code KINGFASTER-00100100.
Can you playSkull and Bonesby yourself?
During a regular playthrough ofSkull and Bones, you won’t need to team up with fellow players if you don’t want to. You will come across ships around you on the seas, however. Thankfully, they can only attack you during PvP contracts and world events.
If you ever decide to have friends join your party, you should knowSkull and Bonesis crossplay, so anyone can join you, even on Amazon Luna.
Offline games likeSkull and Bonesyou can play instead
If you want to play an offline pirate game, there are a few options for you.Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flagis an excellent way to get your fix. It has an expansive open world, engaging ship combat, and an adventure to be had on land as well. It holds up well, despite being a decade old.
Another obvious choice would beSea of Thieves.It has seasons of content to play through, and the waves are absolutely gorgeous in-game.Banjo-Kazooiedeveloper Rare adds a charming English touch to the genre as well. It’s definitely improvedsince its initial release.
