E3 is just around the corner, and I prepare my body for long days of work and longer nights of possible alcohol poisoning, I find that all the details on the event are hitting hard and fast. It’s like Christmas, except I get to be drunk with a larger group of people and we talk about videogames all day. Cheers!
Capcom has just confirmed their E3 2008 lineup via theCapcom Unity Blog,and there are some exciting offerings, includingStreet Fighter IV,Resident Evil 5and the hotly anticipatedMega Man 9.You can also expect a gander atDark Void,Bionic Commando,Moto GP 08′, Neopets Puzzle Adventure, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, PlunderandBionic Commando Rearmed.
As if that onslaught wasn’t enough, Unity Blog also mentionsFlock, a new super secret project that will be debuting at this year’s show. What did I think of when I read this news? Not an exciting new Capcom title, butPolar Bear Flockeinstead (and how much I’d like a videogame featuring him). I know, I’m a dweeb.
In all honesty, I want to play it all, but my retro leanings make me most excited forMega Man 9. We’ll have full coverage on that and all the other titles next week during E3, so stay tuned. Bring food and a bucket for bathroom purposes, as you may find yourself glued to the computer for a while.
