Activision and Infinity Ward have dropped a new video featuring a whopping 24 minutes of multiplayer gameplay from their upcoming military shooterCall of Duty: Modern Warfare.
The near half-hour preview includes crisp 4K PS4 Pro footage of gameplay, recorded across five different game modes from five different maps. The modes include Domination, Headquarters, the all-new Cyber Attack and the classic Team Deathmatch, with battles taking place on Hackney Yard, Gun Runner, Aniyah Palace and Azhir Cave, that latter of which featuring a night variant. Watch those shadows, rookie.
As is to be expected, the video confirms thatModern Warfarewill contain the intense and fast-paced action the series’ famed multiplayer is known for, alongside super slick visuals and intricately detailed maps and models. While detractors often scoff at theCoDseries annual releases and ongoing success, there’s a reason an army of people continue to play these games year in, year out. They’re well-made, great-looking, exciting to play and often utterly addictive.
