It’s Monster Fantasy Final Hunter Explorers and I love it

This new gameplay video ofFinal Fantasy Explorershas me praying to the ghost of Gunpei Yokoi that Square Enix will localize this game to the U.S.

The gameplay looks to be somewhat like theMonster Hunterseries and that is a good thing. The video showcases the warrior, black mage, and monk classes, and confirms that some old friends/enemies are returning — like Ifrit!

Hopefully the move Square Enix has made withFinal Fantasy Type-0indicates that it’s gaining interest in taking more chances in the western market and will release some of their more unique and funFinal Fantasyside-games here instead of just terrible cell phone ports.

If you’re able to’t wait what may be three or more years to see if this game is going to be localized, you can import it from Japan after it releases Decemeber 18, 2014.
