Surprise, surprise
I remember browsing the Origin store a few days ago to see if EA was going to at leasttryand compete with Steam’s Holiday Sale when I came across theBattlefield 4: China Risingexpansion in the ‘New Releases’ section. I thought to myself, “Hah, I bet the Chinese government won’t be too happy about that.”
Turns out that I was right, because they’ve just bannedBattlefield 4.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Chinese government cited “national security” and aggression towards Chinese culture as its reason for issuing the ban on DICE’s shooter;Battlefield 4wasn’t available in China to begin with, so I doubt this’ll have much of an affect on EA.
