Demon’s Crest, one of the most rare SNES games to date, is coming to the Virtual Console

One of my biggest regrets is not buyingDemon’s Crestas a kid. I rented it at least twice and beat it multiple times — as soon as I was done with one playthrough, I started the next one. It’s easily one of the best platformers I’ve ever played, and it hurts that SNES used copies are priced at $100 minimum.

Thankfully, Nintendo just sent over word thatDemon’s Crestis coming to the Wii U Virtual Console on October 30th!Gargoyle’s Quest IIis also coming to the Wii U and 3DS on the same date, which I hereby declare “Firebrand Day.”
