After the blast we had at ourlast big get-together, we’ve been looking for another good opportunity to hook up and party since PAX Prime. djnealb obliged the crew with a great idea: why not use the upcoming Austin ComicCon as our next excuse to get together and act stupid?
Austin Comic Conis running from Nov. 12th-14th, and many of us will be there for at least one of the days and will be down for hanging out in the evenings. The show will have somecool sci-fi celebspresent, and one of Dtoid’s own, Edco, will be there in an artistic capacity. He has promised free sketches for any Dtoider who catches up with him at the Cup Doodle table in the artists’ alley. Â
The Dtoid TX crew is all about pancakes, so we’ll probably close out Sunday morning with another mimosa/pancakebreakfast at Kerbey Lane(earlier this time to avoid the crowds). In the evenings, we’ll be meeting up either at a local watering hole like theKung Fu Saloonor at my place for drinks, games, and general chicanery. If you’re in the area and/or are planning to go to the con, we’d love to see you come out and hang with us!
