We got a chance to check out the opening hours ofEiyuden Chronicle: Risinglast month, and I found it to be surprisingly chill. It has a pleasant mix of town life and building, alongside venturing out into the field and fighting for new materials. The characters and writing were especially fun, too.

TheSuikodensuccessor is still a ways off, with 2023as its current target window. For those who can’t just wait a year, though,Risingwill let players get to know the world and some of its characters. Plus, special equipment and foods will carry over fromRisingintoHundred Heroes.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Risingwill set the stage for global adventure on May 10.
