What’s the release date for Elden Ring Nightreign?
Elden Ring Nightreignwill officially launch onMay 30. While its initial gameplay reveal trailer highlighted a 2025 release window, its subsequent pre-order trailer is when Bandai Namco and FromSoftware confirmed its May 30 date.
At the time of writing, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have yet to confirm an exact release time forElden Ring Nightreign. However, considering the game’s official Steam page lists its date as May 29, there’s a good chance fans in the Americas and Europe will have to wait until late in the evening or night forElden Ring Nightreign’slaunch, with folks in the rest of the world having it available in the middle of the night or early morning.
DuringElden Ring’soriginal launchin 2022, there were two separate release times for consoles and PCs. Console players could play at midnight in their region’s local time, while PC had a set release time of February 24, 5pm CT. WithElden Ring’spast release date and the Steam store page’s date in mind, we estimateElden Ring Nightreignwill follow the same pattern, launching at midnight local time on consoles and 5pm CT on May 29.

FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have also confirmedthat Elden Ring Nightreignwill receive its first DLC pack in Q4 2025. Although the exact day is unknown at the time of publishing this post, Q4 sets the launch window between October and December 2025, or five to seven months afterElden Ring Nightreign’sinitial launch.
If you purchasedElden Ring Nightreign’sDeluxe Edition, you’ll automatically receive the DLC as part of a bundle package alongside the base game, a digital artbook, and a mini soundtrack. Standard Edition folks will likely be able to buy it separately once it releases, much like you could withElden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
