Gameboi:As you might have guessed, I’ve been having a blast with the not so pretty, but oh so fun game ofNo More Heroes. It satisfied my need to relive Kill Bill scenarios on a 19″ screen via the Wiii. I can now mark that off my things to do before I die. I still haven’t found a midget that spouts Chewbaccas’s lines from Star Wars yet — while dressed like Elvira — but I’m working on that one.
Joe Burling:My week consisted ofPuzzle Quest,Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, andAssassin’s Creed. The ending toAssaasin’s Creedwas bitter-sweet, in my opinion. I finally understand why the reviews of the game are so controversial.

Nick Chester:I’ve been mostly playing thePack All of My Crap Into Boxesgame, because I’ll be moving tomorrow. Of course, all of the consoles go last, so I have been playing some other titles. I’ve been slowly coming to terms withBurnout Paradise, and now that I’m not as overwhelmed by its open world, I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’ve nearly completedDoom RPGon my cell phone, which only took me two years. And I’ve been playingPixelJunk Monsterson the PS3 and the PSP, via remote play; this is a rather addictive “must buy” for anyone who owns a PS3.
Topher Cantler:Twinbeeon the NES, super happy naked time with my Dreamcast,The Clubdemo andMetal Slug 3on the 360, and then crashing a lot inBurnout Paradiseand watching my children die horrible deaths inPixel Junk Monsterson the PS Triples. Goddamn sasquatches.

Faith:This week I playedBurnout Paradisewith a friend of mine on the PS3 and he kicked my butt numerous times over. I suck at racing games.
I also played theDevil May Cry 4demo on Xbox 360,Puzzle QuestandUndertowfor XBLA andSuper Mario Galaxyfor the Nintendo Wii.

And last night I hit the local midway for some fun arcade action where I playedCarnival King,Police Training,Skee Ball,Eldorado,Lizard ball,Stacker,Music Beat,Hoops,Typhoon racer,Wheel of Fortune, some ball racing game, some Sega racing game, and some ball drop game.
I won 1007 tickets and which brought my grand total up to 7029 tickets. Too bad there’s never anything good to win there. 17,000 tickets for a Nintendo Wii. 39,000 tickets for a Xbox 360.

Jim Sterling:TheDevil May Cry 4demo was my main flavor this week, interspersed with someBladestormandWarriors Orochi. Add a few slices ofGuitar Hero IIImixed with a generous spoonful ofCoD4and you’ve baked yourself one tasty game cake. Just don’t add that five minutes ofUndertowto the mix unless you want to be sick into a little bag.
Chad Concelmo:After finally finishingFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, I swam around some more inEndless Ocean, traveled through the Glacial Fortress inOmega Five, and started up the epic and oh-so-amazingRatchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. That’s right; I have a Post Scriptum Triple now and I love every sold-my-first-child-to-get-one part of it!

Grim:For whatever reason I can’t stop playingUndertowat 3:00 a.m. even though I don’t like the game at all. Throughout the week, I’ve also been going back to some awesome 2D games likeSamurai Shodown V,Metal Slug 5(what’s up with the last boss?),Captain Commando, andBattle Circuit.
Husky Hog:You know I was going to try and not mention this, unfortunately I just can’t keep it to myself any longer. For the past week I’ve been playingWorld of Warcraft. Sad, I know, yet the thought that I’ve never reached the highest level of any MMO I’ve ever played has been taunting me from the back of my head. With just four levels to go, I hope I can end this unhealthy addiction once and for all.

Hamza Aziz:I think I’m responsible for helpingCOD 4overtakeHalo 3. The one day I finally decided to playCOD 4online, they announce the very next day that it has overtakenHalo 3. Also, Ron loves to knife people in the game. Psycho …
Also,Halo 3.
TheGoldenDonut:I’ve been playing a lot ofAdvance Wars: Days of Ruinthis week, it’s been my first experience with theAdvance Warsseries and now I know what I’ve been missing. Aside from that I’ve also been playing a littleHalo 3andDead Head Fred.
Jonathan Holmes:Grim, I believe the last boss ofMetal Slug 5is in fact the devil. Remember the evil mask cult from earlier in the game? They aredevil worshipers.

Or did you mean “what’s up with the last boss?” in the “Why am I dying every second and unable to get any hits on this guy” way? If so, then the only answer I have is “AfterMetal Slug 3, theMetal Sluggames got much worse.”
As for my games this week, it wasNo More HeroesandHarvey Birdmanon theWii, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2,Shenmue, andSeamanon the Dreamcast. Had to do a comparison to see if it was fair for me to say thatNo More Heroeslooks like a Dreamcast game. I found that not only didNo More HeroesandShenmuelook a lot alike, but they both have random kitten petting sequences, painful in-game jobs, and large open environments with almost nothing to do in them. And yet, I love both games to tears.

Ron Workman:Baill in a cup,COD4(Dominates everything),Undertow(which is pretty and has great sound and effects but is still terrible, but free) [Demos]Devil May Cry 4,The Club,Turning Point: FOL. I have been in demo heaven lately.
Brad Rice:I don’t know if you’d call it a “game,” but going through the immigration process in Japan sure was fun. Did you know, they have DS games in coin drop machines? But in my time on the plane, I’ve been playingScourge: Hive,Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, andContact. When the power in my handhelds went out, I had to turn to the airplane showingThe Game Planand readingThe Road. The Game Planonly affirms my belief that The Rock is the next great actor of our generation.

BlindsideDork:Nintendo has been good to me. Despite the small flaws withNo More Heroes, I am loving the gaming experience. Wish I could say the same about my recent experiences with the Xbox 360. I did play a littleRock Bandat a friend’s place and still amazed at how easy the bass is on most songs and how precise you have to be with the drums. But other than that, I am still kicking it on the go withFinal Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.
Colette Bennett:I think I played the final round of “Buy shit for the new apartment” this weekend, which is good because I am really tired of being in retail stores at this point. Beyond that all I’ve really played is theDevil May Cry 4demo, which I liked quite a bit, and my usual rounds ofPuzzle Quest, with a little bit of time saved for a replay ofChrono Triggerinspired by a Memory Card Chad did a few weeks ago.

Orcist:Not much for me. A littlePersona 3when I get a chance, and still plugging throughPhantom Hourglasson the road. However, my new computer just arrived, so I smell someSam and Maxin my near future.
