I was readingRock, Paper, Shotgunas I am wont to do, and I saw this trailer forGarshasp: The Monster Slayer. It’s a third-person action/adventure in the same vein asGod of War, and it’ll be coming to Steam and GamersGate soon.
It certainly looks to be of the “cheap and cheerful” variety, but the real interesting note is that the game’s based on Iranian/Persian mythology. You don’t see something like that every day. I wouldn’t expect any great cultural revelation though, as the focus seems weighted toward the slaying of monsters.
Y’know, because it’s about a monster slayer.
