More gameplay of cancelled 2008 game
Free Radical’sStar Wars Battlefrontsequel has mademany appearanceson various streams and video hosting channels since cancellation in 2008, but this weekend saw one of the most generous videos:an hour-long playthroughof a multiplayer match.
This footage comes fromPtoPOnline, a website and Twitch channel that focuses on early betas and unreleased games. Free Radical co-founder Steve Ellis told Game Informer thatBattlefront IIIwas “99% complete,” being tested for bugs, before it was cancelled. I can only assume the above footage is from an alpha build, likethe developer reel that also leaked this weekend on Vimeo.

This footage shouldn’t be confused with the recently leaked and cancelledBattlefrontspin-offFirst Assault, which was being developed by LucasArts for an Xbox Live Arcade release.
