It’s definitely been a while since I stepped into the world of.hack.It’s pretty weird to think that almost ten years have passed since the series debuted on the PS2.It presented a lot of unique ideas and new mechanics to the JRPG genre, and I loved the idea of playing a game within a game. Since posting up ateaser sitelast month, developer CyberConnect2 has been pretty quiet about the details of the entry known only as.hack//Game Project. It seems the wait for the title to make its mark on the current console market may be ending soon.
Famitsu.comhas posted a couple new in-game rendered screen shots, which are seen running on a still unnamed platform. The story is to take place a year after the soon to be released.hack//The Movie. There is still no word of a release date for for the game, but you can check out the 3D animated film in Japanese theaters January 21st.
