I can already hear the wedding bells
Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Townis making a comeback later this year. As reported by Famitsu, Marvelous is remaking the Game Boy Advance title for Nintendo Switch. The plan is to incorporate elements fromMore Friends of Mineral Townas well, with a launch in Japan set for June 23, 2025.

When I think of iconic GBA-era box art,Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Townimmediately springs to mind. It’s a shame that art direction wasn’t able to persist over the years. With today’s news, I have half a mind to fish out my boxed-up Wii U and poke around in theeShop versionof the original game.
The Switch remake will release in the West under the nameStory of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

Elsewhere in the farming-sim field, Nintendo Switch is gettingDoraemon Story of Seasons.
