Ina post on the PlayStation Blog, Arrowhead Game Studios revealed the upcoming Cutting Edge Warbond coming toHelldivers 2on March 14. The new Warbond features what Arrowhead considers ultra-futuristic armor, guns that spit lightning, stylish capes, and epic emotes.
EX Series Prototype Armor
The Cutting Edge Warbond features three new EX Series Prototype armors. All three armors feature a sleek futuristic-style armor set The three sets are:
While they look cool, I really wish Arrowhead would do some sort of drastic new models for these armor sets. It sort of just looks like a slight reskin and recolor, though this is just the second warbond so maybe we’ll see crazier stuff later down the line.
New weaponry in theHelldivers 2Cutting Edge Warbond
Three new Primary Weapons are part of the Cutting Edge Warbond as well.
These are obviously cooler because the added effects aren’t just cosmetic so these can end up being pretty useful on the battlefield. There’s also a new stun grenade, G-2# Stun Gun, and LAS-7 Dagger Pistol.
The new Cutting Edge Warbond goes live inHelldivers 2on March 14.
