Ginger Island is a secondary location inStardew Valley, containing a long list of features, quests and areas to explore. Unfortunately, to unlock the entire island, and discover all of its hidden secrets, you’ll need to first find and then spendGolden Walnuts.

There are a total of 130 Golden Walnuts to be found across Ginger Island, and unlocking each new area of the island requires a set number of Walnuts. The largest number of walnuts is required to unlock Qi’s Walnut Room, where you may earn exclusive rewards.

How to use Golden Walnuts inStardew Valley

In total, you’ll need116 Golden Walnutsto unlock all of the different areas on Ginger Island. The remaining 14 Walnuts can be exchanged inside Qi’s Walnut Room to gain extra Qi Gems.

To unlock these new areas, you’ll need to hand over a fixed number of Golden Walnuts to a Parrot in a certain area.
