I remember when it was rare for a game to have a transmog feature. But in the modern era of gaming, it’s a sinnotto have it! Here’s where to find the wardrobe inDiablo 4and change up the look of your character. After all, that new helmet you got looks really drab: maybe it’s time to change it!
What does transmog mean?
Also referred to as “glamour” in select games, “transmog,” or “transmogrification”refers to the typically-magical act of changing your appearance. That’s it! Transmog options usually allow players to individually tweak their looks, like swapping out individual gear pieces such as helmets, gloves, boots, and so on.
In some games, there’s a gold sink (cost) associated with altering the look of your gear, and sometimes (like inDiablo 4) it’s completely free.
Where to find the wardrobe to change your look and transmog your gear
InDiablo 4, you’ll access the transmog mechanic through the wardrobe. It looks like a white chest of drawers icon on your map, and can typically be found at big cities/hubs (the first of which is Kyovashad). All you need to do is walk over to the wardrobe and interact with it to swap your look around.
The exact iconography of the wardrobe icon can be found in the image directly above. you may easily tell if a town/hub has a wardrobe by highlighting the waypoint and looking for the wardrobe icon.
How to get more transmog options
To unlock more transmog options, you need to go through the blacksmith vendorspeppered throughout the game world. Head to the blacksmith (icon noted above) and speak to them to salvage gear.
If a piece of gear is eligible for a new look,it’ll have a hammer icon listed on it while it is in your inventory. Either individually select pieces of gear to salvage or salvage all your junk, and you’ll unlock transmog looks based on the appearance of that gear.
