1996 FPS up on Steam, coming to GOG.com soon
Night Dive Studios brings old games to Steam, fromThe 7th GuesttoSystem Shock 2toPutt-Putt Goes to the Moon. I’ve heard ofmost of them, having either been around when they were new or discovering them in the years since, but notStrife. I should know aboutStrife.
It’s a first-person shooter with role-playing elements built using theDoomengine so, straight away, they’ve got me listening. The trailer makes a good first impression.Magneto, too.

This remasteredVeteran Edition ofStrifehas optional updated graphics, full key rebinding, and support for higher resolutions. Night Dive also finished some stuff that wasn’t completed in the original release, like the multiplayer mode Capture the Chalice. It’s the thought that counts.
Strifeis $7.49 on Steam right now and should be available on GOG.com in a few weeks.
