Should we bring out our controllers?
Honkai Star Railcontroller support makes the game more appealing for those who detest touch controls and the mouse and keyboard. Both can be quite daunting, especially the mouse and keyboard, which has all manner of confusing keys to understand. Sorry, I’m not a PC player and I didn’t grow up with the control method! Here’s everything you need to know aboutHonkai: Star Railcontroller support on PC and mobile devices.
IsHonkai Star Railcontroller supported?
It’s time to get hyped becauseHonkai Star Railcontroller support is indeed a thing. On PC, you can plug in almost every Xbox controller and it will work with the game. I even used an Xbox 360 gamepad and it worked just fine: the UI changes according to the controller you use, too! For example, you’ll see the A button for an Xbox controller and the cross button for PlayStation gamepads. On PC, it works with both a wired and wireless connection via Bluetooth.
On iOS and Android, it isn’t the same case. Neither a USB wired nor Bluetooth connection works withHonkai StarRailon mobile. If you want to takeHonkai Star Railto an airport, train, or any other place outside of the house/apartment with a controller, you’ll need to use a laptop instead. It’s a shame, but thankfully, the mobile controls work well enough.

IsHonkai Star Railcoming to consoles?
Honkai Star Railwilleventually be released on PS5and PS4 soon. There’s currently no release date attached. It’s only available on PC and mobile devices currently, butHonkai Star Raildoes support cross-save on those platforms. Whenever the PlayStation version ofHonkai Star Railreleases, hopefully the account system will allow cross-saves as well, as that feature only came toGenshin Impactin the 2.0 update.
As of the time of writing, there are no plans for an Xbox or Nintendo Switch version ofHonkai Star Rail.In fact, we’re still waiting for aSwitch version ofGenshin Impact, which was announced years ago.
