Stay away from carnival games, kids!
Reveling in the misfortune of others isn’t something I try to frequently do, but the larger-than-life story about a New Hampshire man whoburned through his life savingsat a carnival in an attempt to win a Kinect was simply too much to handle.
Making matters even more humorous, Henry Gribbohm ultimately ended up with a stuffed banana as his prize. The thing haddreadlocks, for eff’s sake! The site set up a Facebook “Likes” goal that promised to pay him back his lost savings of $2,600 for the banana as well as give the guy his sought-after Xbox 360 Kinect bundle. The goal was, of course, reached. And he says he’s putting the money toward a college fund for his children and a Boston Run donation. What a shockingly happy ending this turned out to be.
