It may be a poor man’sDynasty Warriors, but I’m still interested to see what the sequel toNinety-Nine Nightshas to offer. The original game, published by Microsoft, had potential and was armed with some sweet visuals, but the gameplay was lacking when compared to Omega Force’s efforts. Hopefully the new Konami-published followup gives us more bang.

Japan will found out ifN3IIis up to snuff in Spring of this year. No word on a Western release date yet, but hopefully we’ll get a taste of it before the year is out.

The game wasfirst announcedat the Tokyo Game Show in 2008, so developer Feelplus has had plenty of time to make this game superior to the original. Hopefully it’ll be good, but I’ll certainly remain guarded until I can get my hands on it.
