The best game to ever grace arcades,Mortal Kombat II, has apparently gone missing in the PlayStation Store. Users on theofficial PlayStation forumare reporting the title has been delisted both from the store and their download history, thus making downloading impossible. The trailer for the coin-op hit is still present on the network, despite its new missing status. Interestingly, the title has yet to be removed from European users’ lists, which indicates the situation is probably the result of a glitch....

Anybody who has ever played even a small part ofFinal Fantasy XIVwill know that it’s a gargantuan game. One thing I always loved about theResident Evilseries was its completely wacky unlockables that you could obtain after playing the games seriously your first time through. That’s what we like to hear VectorCell’s reimagining of the classic sci-fi platform gameFlashbackis coming along. With the tweaks being made to modernize the title, this could end up being a disappointment for long-time fans who have the original version burned into their brain more than a decade later despite the team’s intention to retain its “heart and soul.” We’ve certainly been burned by remakes before. It’s hard to say for sure at this point, but one piece of reassuring news is that the originalFlashbackwill be included with the remake....

Talents and abilities As I mentioned last week,Heroes of the Stormmight be winding down when it comes to support from the top ranks of Blizzard (and Activision), but the team that’s left is still passionate and willing to support the game as long as possible. Part of that support (and by proxy, the efforts of the full team) is coming in the form of Imperius, a character that’s been requested by the community for ages....

Confirmed for a western release The New Game+ Expo may not have had all the titles fans were anticipating, especially if you’re a fan of Sega and Atlus, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth a watch. In fact, sitting through the whole presentation, I discovered a game I’d never heard of before, and I’m starting to obsess over it. Tasomachiis currently scheduled for a 2021 release on PC. It has aSteam page, but until now, there were no plans to bring it over in English....

A cross between Spore and Fantastic Contraption Incredipede, a “game about life and feet,” is on sale for $4.99 onSteam for PC and Mac. If you are a lucky Linux user, you candownload it for free. The game was successfully added to Steam via Greenlight earlier this year, and it looks like a lot of fun to play. This sale runs until June 24, so jump on it if you want to save some cash and add another indie title to your collection....
