Tremble before the science giant For the last few months Valve have been using a brand newPortalgame to show off their Vive VR headset. Short clips of the demo have surfaced online in bits and pieces, but thanks to a recent game jam in London, you can now watch a playthrough of the entire VRPortaldemo. So, what happens in this demo? Well, you find a tiny world inside a desk draw, become the god like science giant to a race of tiny creatures, repair a robot and bump into an old friend....

Speaking to OXM about the future ofMinecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, 4J Studios’ Paddy Burns said that the team is “working with Daniel Kaplan at Mojang to define what is going in to the Xbox version, but the aim is to include as many of the PC features that make sense on the Xbox as possible.” The first update is said to get the game up to version 1.7.3, but that’s only the beginning....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3players rejoice, becauseSledgehammer Gameshas announced it will be temporarily disabling the infamous Gaia Operator outfit, known in the community as the “Groot” skin, so it can make some changes. In a recentReddit AMA, the developer said “adjustments” for this outfit are “in the pipeline.” In response to one user asking what the studio’s plans were regarding the “problems [the skin] has brought forward to [Modern Warfare 3] from [Modern Warfare 2],” it responded confirming the fixes were incoming, and that the Gaia and Gaia Blackcell Operator skins will be disabled in a future update until the changes are ready to be deployed....

To bullet hell and back There were a lot of surprise announcements during today’s E3 2021 Nintendo Direct, and there was one more waiting in the wings.Mushihimesama, Cave’s classic bullet-hell shooter, is out today on the Nintendo Switch. The Switch port will have numerous difficulty modes to mess around with, ranging from a Novice mode tuned for newcomers to the ultra-punishing Ultra Mode. Publisher Live Wire also confirmed that players will be able to playMushihimesamavertically, on either their TV or on the Switch system, to emulate the arcade experience....
