Amazon’s selling PS4s bundled with a free year of PlayStation Plus

The late adopters continually have justification for putting off purchasing a new console. You know, as long as they don’t mind the extra time on legacy systems. The latest reasoning comes from Amazon in a sneaky good deal. Amazon’s offering a PlayStation 4 bundled with a year-long subscription to PlayStation Plus for $399.99. We haven’t seen the PS4 go down in price yet (like Xbox One has), so the best you’re able to hope for is some sweet pack-ins....

Assassin’s Creed: Origins won’t fail your mission upon detection

18 minutes of gameplay via IGN Assassin’s Creed: Origins‘s director Ashraf Ismail sat down to play a new mission with IGN in a new 18-minute gameplay video. As pointed out byPush Square, Ismail states that they are removing some frustrating aspects like auto-failing a mission whenever you are detected or when you accidentally leave the mission area. Not only were a vast majority of the missions boring espionage or tailing objectives, requiring you to remain in blue circle, but it was so easy to accidentally leave the mission zone or get seen, forcing lots of trial and error which left the overall game experience muddled....

City of Titans raises double its Kickstarter goal

The spiritual successor to City of Heroes City of Titans, a game being made to fill in the empty space left in our hearts whenCity of Heroeswas closed, managed to raise double its goal onKickstarter. The goal was $320,000 and Missing Worlds Media managed to raise $678,189 in 33 days. While that is a lot of money, it doesn’t seem like enough to develop an MMO to me. I would love to see a revival ofCity of Heroes, but creating an MMO seems like a pretty daunting task for a new studio with less than $1 million....
