PC port sounds great From out of nowhere, Square Enix has announced thatDissidia Final Fantasy NT‘sfree versionwill be coming to PC and PS4 on June 21, 2025. For anyone following, this is a confirmation of not only a PC port of the tag-team fighter but the free version’s release in the West. Talk about a well-kept secret. As the tweet states, players of the free version will be able to compete against those with the full one, so this likely means the PC port will be accompanied by a regular release....

Fortnite‘s 29.30 update has officially arrived, and while it may not make sweeping changes to the battle royale, some interesting additions include a new Marvel crossover and the return of some vaulted weapons. Two weeks after the29.20 updatewhich introduced theAvatar: The Last Airbenderevent, we’re now heading back to Marvel, with skins fromThor: Ragnarokset to appear in the game. On top of that, Billie Eilish takes overFortniteFestival, whileLEGO Fortnitealso receives some big updates this week....

Cartridge Comics started up on August of 2005 and is easily one of my favorite comics to read. The team behind the comic are Chris Jeffery and Alexandria Nassopoulos. Cartridge takes on video game culture as well as ripping into pop culture. I know they aren’t a 100% video game comic, but with jokes like these, they definitely deserved to be spotlighted. Cartridge dives into the random a lot but they also have developing story arcs for a few of their popular characters....

The game was, allegedly, supposed to release today, but some last-minute issues stopped that from happening. IGN does have a trailer that mentions today, but clearly that was jumping the gun. According to some of the biggest first-person shooters on the market, women don’t exist. Men give birth to men who become manly men and shoot stuff with man-guns. However, not only is that unrealistic, it’s exclusionary, silly, and lacking a decent excuse. What world am I living in right now? Justice Leagueis in the middle of a huge mess right now. DC Comics and Warner Bros. are tooling and re-tooling elements, Ben Affleck wasalmost phased out of the Batman role(before confirming he’d be staying on), and the film’s current advertising is at odds with its product. So it’s weird to say that this new bit of footage from San Diego Comic-Con looks pretty good, actually....
