You won’t care about them unless you regularly enjoy Japanese television shows, but you might care that they’ll work alongside real-life hostesses, which will also star in the game in virtual form....

From the community A few months ago, we compileda list of some of the toughest games to run on PCin honor of the release ofCrysis 3. While each of the games listed were certainly troublesome, plenty of additional titles were mentioned in the comments that were notably demanding. It’s only right to give these games their proper due for being so damn difficult to run. I mean, if we don’t preserve their legacy, people might eventually forget that these were all total pains in the ass....

On February 22nd, the Vita is going to have a couple titles that feature a master ninja. Minecraft with a little more direction, action, and voxels Spark Risingis “build and battle” sandbox game currentlyseeking Kickstarter funding. The colorful, blocky title is of course reminiscent ofMinecraftand the also-voxel-basedCube World, but with a greater third-person action and strategy game twist. The progression sounds rather neat. You’re tasked with fortifying your establishments from invading aliens using whatever sorts of creatures you want to dream up with a simple and intuitive looking editor tool....

It’s called Tableturf Battle Thanks to a new Nintendo Direct, we have confirmation of a newSplatoon 3card game called “Tableturf Battle.” It’s a 1v1 competitive card battling game that you’ll be playing inside ofSplatoon 3, similar to Triple Triad inFinal Fantasy, or Gwent inWitcher 3. Battling is done by “laying out cards,” which create different shapes on the battlefield: then you’ll “unleash” a special attack in some fashion after crafting a calculated shape board state....

Seemingly not tied to the season pass Midway through this new “Free Game Updates” trailer forStar Wars Battlefront, there is a snippet of Jabba the Hutt holding a weapon hologram and the text “Coming Soon: Hutt Contracts.” From the way it’s presented here, it seems like this will be a way to unlock some new gear (bounties?), which could either be neat or fall completely flat depending on how much energy DICE is investing for folks without a season pass....

Xbox Live Gold members get a free Tekken! Tekken 7, featuringAkuma for whatever reason, just had its first localization information drop at Microsoft’s E3 stage. The fighting game will head to our shores early next year. They also showed a badass fight between Akuma and Heihachi, both in a cinematic and actual gameplay. Speaking of cinematics,Tekken 7will have them, alongside an all new story mode when it is released. As for now, current Xbox Live Gold members can downloadTekken Tag Tournament 2for free, playable via backwards compatibility....

It’s a sad time for the ArchieMega Mancomic. Despite the fact that it was highly acclaimed in the eyes of many critics and fans, it’s coming to an end after just 55 issues. In even sadder news, said issue isn’t actually out yet on its official due date of December 2. This is after a delay from mid-November. Some fans are worried that it may not be coming at all....

The Ghost Shell looks nice Man it’s going to take me the rest of the year to get that right. “Prime Gaming.” In case you missed it, Twitch Prime is no more. Oh no! Wait, there’s more. It’s “Prime Gaming” now, and everything you redeemed in the past is still linked to your account. In passing, I still refer to it as Twitch Prime: especially in the context ofDestiny 2, which has had a number of loot drops under the old name....

‘The next big title’ RememberBlood & Truth? Well, I don’t blame you if you’re confused. It came out in the before times, and was a PSVR exclusive: I bet a lot of people missed it. Well, the gist is that it’s a British gangster homage with VR gunplay and an action focus. It was fun, but ultimately held back by the limitations of PSVR and the Move remotes: I felt like it would be better served on a more unchained platform likethe Valve Indexorthe Oculus Rift/Quest....
