The petition has blown up since we broke the story on it yesterday, quickly rising from around 8,000 signatures to over 25,000 with no signs of stopping. Surely Nintendo will do the right thing and offer DeVito the job after this overwhelming support, right?...

Videogames don’t just corrupt the average high school teen — you may blame them for all kinds of things, including the death of Adolf Hitler and the reason you keep having that unexplainable bleeding. In this most recent travesty, a pair of clearly suitable parents allowed their two young children to wander unsupervised throughout the Tampa motel they were in for several hours. When the children were discovered outside their room, the police checked inside and found piles of trash and vomit in the room, but the parents were not there....

Thank goodness for that! The director ofDeadly Premonitionis back with a Kinect game calledD4. Among the Xbox One exclusives shown at E3, this was right up there as one of the most attention-grabbing. After meeting with Swery65 and Microsoft Studios producer Yutaka Noma to get a hands-off look at the game, I can happily say that this is going to be another weird one. Possibly even weirder than the aforementioned cult classic....

Sony Worldwide bossShuhei Yoshida recently informed Eurogamerthat it ain’t happening this year: you’ll just have to settle for bundles instead. Yoshida clarifies that “cost reduction is one area our engineering team is working on,” so there may be hope yet somewhere down the line in 2013. I’m not entirely sure if it’s the portable’s price that needs dropping however, as opposed to the insanely overpriced proprietary memory cards....

This is a fun take on rhythm gaming that has you heading up a crappy orchestra and working toward becoming the world’s greatest conductor. His ultimate goal? To acquire the fabled Zero Score, which is reserved for the best of the best. Given the setting and theme, the soundtrack is orchestral, based on classical music. ThinkTheatrhythm, but with classical music, and a bit more challenge....

No balls of steel required Outside the dedicated and nebulously legal emulation scene, PC hasn’t received much virtual pinball love lately despite being its birthplace. Zen Studios is changing this by bringingPinball FX 2to Steam on May 10. The title previously arrived on the Windows Store in October, but it should hit a larger PC audience on Steam which is admittedly devoid of quality pinball titles. For those new toPinball FX 2, it’s a free-to-download platform that offers a number of table packs based onStar WarsandMarvel, along with some original creations....
