The studio says the new update will also feature new Pals, trainers to fight against, new bosses, and will serve as a new high-difficulty challenge for fans of the original experience. The update will roll out sometime in December, with more details pending soon.

Though we’re yet to see any concrete details regarding either big update, the announcements at least prove the surprise mega-hit is far from dead. And it really needs to show its teeth, as Pocketpair is still preparing for a tough copyright battle with Nintendo over the similarities betweenPalworldand I’ll let you guess what.

Nintendo is accusing Pocketpairof, among other patent infringements, stealing the concept of throwing a ball to capture wild creatures.Palworldsure does feature that, but Pocketpair has already stated that the studio will fight the lawsuit.
