In the previous chapter, Saga acquired the Clicker she needs to change the story. However, her troubles aren’t over yet, and the Dark Presence will not give up without a fight.
This is a relatively short chapter, and while it is part of Saga’s story, you’ll also be playing as Alan. Follow this guide, and you’ll have no problem completing Return 4 inAlan Wake 2.
Return to Bright Falls
After her adventures in Coffee World, it’s time for Saga to return to Bright Falls. There, Agent Casey and Alan discuss the nature of fiction and Alan’s use of real people in his writing. There’s no input needed on your side at this point.
The meeting goes south when the Dark Presence arrives. Foolishly, Casey heads out to defeat it with his gun. This leaves you with Alan to control. The primary objective is to find Casey who Alan fears may have been taken by Scratch. To exit the Lodge, find your way to the kitchen which will spit you out on the back porch. It is here where you’ll find the shotgun and flashlight you’ll need to keep yourself alive.
Follow the sound of Casey’s gunshots and you’ll arrive at a gate with three dark spots you need to burn off with your flashlight. You’ll almost immediately be ambushed by a Taken, so be prepared. Head forward into the woods where you’ll be taken through a path featuring a couple of save havens and plenty of enemies. If you’re lost, follow the sound of Casey’s gunshots.
Once you reach Casey’s location, there’s nothing else needed from you. Saga arrives and saves Alan from being murdered by a cultist then, to thepleasure ofControlfans, the FBC arrives via helicopter. Kiran Estevez from the FBC informs Saga that the organization will handle things from here and that Saga is off the case. Of course, by now we should know that’s an order she won’t follow.
