Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure HD, a re-skinned HD update of Capcom’s obscure 1998 fighter, will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade August 21 and PSN a day later for $19.99 or 1600 points.
For a series known by a few and loved by a lot less, developers are putting a lot of faith inJojo. Earlier this month, Namco Bandai announcedJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle:A new 3D fighter in the series exclusively for the PS3. So, yes, these are two completely different games. The latter of which is being developed by theAsura’s Wrathteam, which previously worked with Capcom. The headache continues.

To add to the confusion, there is also aJojo’s Bizarre Adventureanime coming soon.Jojois based on a popular manga in Japan, so it always had its biggest audience overseas. Even so, it’s hard to tell what exactly spurred thisJojo’s Bizarre Adventuremedia blitz that spans different game publishers and mediums.
It’s all the same to me if the game is good and my dedicated fighting game pals say the original Capcom fighter is very good. $19.99 is pretty steep so let’s hope Capcom are giving it one hell of an upgrade and not just a couple visual filters.

Regardless,Jojo the Idiot Circus Boywill always be the one and true Jojo to me.
