‘Dis guy, ehhh?
This may be me projecting. I think abouts-CRY-eda lot. I don’t know why. And it certainly did not invent the “guy with cool arm” genre. Still, the first half of this trailer reminded me a lot ofs-CRY-ed, and then the second half was full of characters with weird horns (sometimes one, sometimes two), luchador masks, and all sort of zany junk.
WhileDisgaeais “very anime,” the series always does a good job at being more than that. It’s often endearing and earnest, thanks to good writing and localization. Plus it has a distinctive, lovely art style–all the same reasons I likedDisgaea 4.
