The PC release ofFunko Fusionhas not gone as smoothly as anticipated. The game was an hour late with its arrival on Steam, and now a bug is causing players to be handed achievements as though they knocked at the door on Halloween.

Players are all dressed up as their favorite characters from the many franchises included inFunko Fusion, exploring the worlds on offer, and taking on Eddy, the evil protagonist of the story. They’re also unlockingachievementsat lightning speed thanks to a bug that’s likely to be patched pretty soon.

Crown in Funko Fusion

According to Steam, I’ve playedFunko Fusionfor a total of just 56 minutes, but if you took a look at my achievements currently, you’d likely be a little confused:

According to this, I’ve gathered up five million Vinyl (the main currency of the game, similar to Studs in theLEGOgames), killed 1,000 enemies, and played as every single character currently available. In fact, I’ve been wandering around Sandford in theHot Fuzzworld for at least three-quarters of my current play time, destroying everything in sight to get Vinyl and chasing a Goose.

It’s not just me, either, although it would be funny if that were the case. Others havereported the same issueon Twitter, and some members of the officialFunko FusionDiscord channelhave also reported the same issue.

Austin O’Brien, theSenior Social Media Managerfor 10:10 Games, acknowledged the bug in the Discord channel:

Austin O’Brien has acknowledge the achievement bug in Funko Fusion

As I said, this bug will likely be fixed swiftly, and I feel bittersweet about it. On the one hand, the completionist in me is elated to see those achievements pop up rapidly despite me not having actually done the thing I need to do to unlock it. On the other, I’m fully aware of how much it cheapens the achievement itself.

I’m looking forward to diving in once the bug is patched and earning them for myself, but for now, I can just pretend I got them the proper way, right?
