Not releasing in the UK
[Update: Despite saying it wouldn’t be released on Xbox 360,Pro Skater 5has popped up on theXbox Live Marketplace, costing £24.99. It isn’t available on the PS3, so this might well be a mistake on Activision’s part.
We’ve contacted Activision for clarification on what exactly is going on, and will update should we hear back from them.]

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5’s last-gen port will not be launching in Britain, despite being due for release elsewherethis week.
Talking toEurogamer, Activision has said it was “not releasing in the UK on those platforms at this time”. The reasons for the decision aren’t made clear, but I bet not many people will be too upset by this news.

We don’t know how the last-gen port will fare just yet, but considering the mess of a current-gen release, I wouldn’t get your hopes up. When it launched for Xbox One, PS4 and PC earlier this year,Pro Skater 5was deridedas being buggy, half-baked, and overall sloppily developed instead of being to the quality the next major entry in a well-loved series really should be.
Developer Robomondo has a track record with sub-par skating games, having previously been behind the awfulTony Hawk: Ride, and the underwhelmingPro Skater HD.

My friends, the UK has possibly dodged the biggest bullet of the year!
