THQ’s financial troubles are going to make the publisher’s presence somewhat diminished this summer. This year, it won’t have booths at E3 in June orgamescom in August. While it seems like a reasonable decision due to the costs involved, withDarksiders IIjust around the corner it will be a missed opportunity to generate more interest. The publisher will still be at E3, just not with a booth, but it’s not clear if it will have a presence at Gamescom at all.
I’m sure there are a lot of folk already looking forward toDarksiders 2,so hopefully sales from that will give THQ a boost. While it’s published a few duds and the UDraw tablet was a failure, it’s also published some crackers.
