We’re about a week and a half away from Ubisoft’s next big releaseFar Cry 4. The game is priced at the standard $59.99, but if you’re a PC gamer looking for a pre-order discount, the Uplay key gotprice-slashedthis weekend in GMG’s “VIP” sale. You’ll see the discounton this pageafter you’ve logged in or created an account if you don’t have one.
Although it’s been out on the PS3 for a while, next week TuesdayValkyria Chroniclesmakes its way to the PC on Steam for $19.99. The best deal online right now is also in the same GMG VIP sale, where the price drops by31% to $13.85(now that the game is released, price is up to$15.40). Buying from GMG will get you an instant Steam key key, which is useful because the pre-load is currently live on Steam.
Update: The previouslymentioned BOGO deal from Target isnow liveas of this AM (last notedherea bit back). Best Buy is also running a similar 3DS combo buying deal but its not as solid as Target’s in our opinion. Target’s B2GO deal includes all video games on all platforms (we count 1,300 titles across all platforms).
Some good pickings are available from the Target promo. Choose by platform on the left sidebar to make life easier and we recommend going with recent/upcoming releases to ensure getting best bang for the buck (as Gamefly, Best Buy, & GameStop often have older titles on sporadic sales, whether new or used copies).
Finally, we’ve killed some more expired deals as of 11/11. Most stuff are good for around 2-3 days when we post them. Just FYI on that.
