Season 4 M+ Dungeon Difficulty and Loot Changes
With the Season 4 update, there are also some changes to difficulty and loot in M+ dungeons. While before the Item Level of loot would increase all the way to +20 keys, it now only goes up to +10. However, with changes in difficulty, a +10 in Season 4 is essentially equivalent to a +20 from Season 3. Here are how dungeon difficulties compare between previous seasons:
With the newWoWSeason 4 Dungeon system, M+ dungeons will start getting more difficult a lot quicker. However, as such, you won’t have to take your keys as high to get the best loot out of them. According to Blizzard, this change should create a smaller range for keystone levels to find groups for, thus allowing more meaningful progression between each M+ key level.

In Season 4, Normal Dungeons will reward players with 460 Item Level loot at the end of the dungeon. However, Mythic +9 and higher will grant 509 Item Level at the end of the dungeon. The highest end of week vault Item Level rewards for doing M+10 or higher and grants 522 Item Level loot.
