I mentioned the game-themed movie project “Your Friends Close”a week ago, where I said I hoped it would “become a mix of a (game) designer couple’sWho’s Afraid of Virginia Woolfmixed with some Godard and Wes Anderson influences.”
The indie movie’s writer and director, Brock Wilbur and Jocelyn Kelvin, told me this week that it was a pretty accurate description, so that should make those of you who watch good movies a little bit more excited. Also, Yahtzee Croshaw (Zero Punctuation) and Lisa Foiles (All That,Top 5 with Lisa Foiles) have recently joined the cast, so if you passed on this because of a lack of accents and former child actresses, you have no excuse now.
